Read this book.
This is a pretty good book. I was surprised that even though you could occasionally tell what the author's bias was she she was pretty evenhanded. There were some good insights even for a political junkie like me.
She does however ignore Roberts' record in concluding that he will be a solid conservative vote.
The best quote is from Rehnquist. He said, "You spend your first five years on the court wondering how you got here and the rest of you time wonder how your colleagues got here."

The most interesting quote in the book is on page 143 and deals with getting into a war with Iraq. It was recorded by a Tony Blair foreign policy adviser. Bush "actually toyed with the idea of staging a deliberate military provocation in order to precipitate a casus belli." In other words a false flag attack. Like perhaps 9-11.
He also claim that even during the Cold War when a nuclear war could have happened that "American leaders did not propagate fear as a means of sustaining national determination. Perhaps he forgot about the drill that had school children hiding under their desks.
The book is a good look into the mind of a key presidential adviser. It shows his duplicity.

This book begins with vintage Cosby discussing whether or not he is black enough to talk about this topic. Most of the book is pretty good. There is however no discussion of the topic of abortion.
This is an important topic in relation to the subject covered due to several factors. First in 2005 there were more black babies aborted than born. Second, many of the health risks that Cosby talks about are also linked to women who have had abortions.
Many of Cosby's solutions are good and at least desire a look and some serious thought.

This book is an interesting discussion between a Republican and a Democrat national security adviser. The key to the fact that they are both anti-American scumbags is found on page 247. Sowcroft says, "Let the fact that we have to make some concessions on sovereignty sink in gradually. Don't put that our front." Brzezinski answers, "Absolutely." They are saying hide the fact that we must give up or sovereignty to accomplish what we are talking about. On page 250 Brzezinski says "it's dignity, not freedom, that people around the world...really seek. But I ask can you truly have dignity without being free?

The book is great but there is on point that I thought was disingenuous. On page 150 his criticism of unions and real wages does not mention that the dollar was appreciating during a time that and most European currencies were depreciating. I am sure that Mr. Woods is aware of that fact. I will probably end up reading every book in the PIG series.

It is a compilation of the speeches given at the founding convention of the US Taxpayer Party which is now the Constitution Party. Ron Paul is among the speakers. The are several topics including sound money. The principles that are mentioned are still relevant today. The Constitution does not change easily. Although the courts would like us to think that it is a changing document. It is not. It is a contract.

The author discusses many Supreme Court cases and the flawed (at best) logic used to decided them. Including the "emanations of penumbra," which is legalese for we just made it up.
Gutzman understands the Constitution and the RATIFIERS intentions. He shows why the ratifying conventions should be were we get our understanding even more than the Federalist Papers or that writing of the drafters.

If you only read one chapter of the book the must read is chapter six: How YOU Fund Terrorism. This chapter deals with how the US government funds terrorist groups. The reasoning is that they will use them against our common enemies. They do this but then when they have the opportunity to they give them to the common enemy to kill Americans and Jews.
